French Vanilla ice cream

Isabella's Ice Cream: French Vanilla ice cream

(Yield 1qt. Container) 

2 1/2 cups of heavy cream

1 1/2 cups of milk 

1/2 cup Cane sugar 

2 egg yolk 

2 Tablespoons vanilla extract 

Combine milk, cream and sugar in saucepan on medium heat...constantly stirring until sugar is dissolved and milk is almost boiling. 

Wisk in egg yolk, constantly stirring, on low heat until incorporated. Remove from stove top, add vanilla extract. 

Cool mixture completely in fridge or ice bath. 

Once cool, pour mixture into ice cream maker, and follow directions on your machine.
