Here's a list of safety tips when "Hittin' the Trails" in the mountains this Winter.

- Trails could also be icy at times, especially above 7,000 feet. Wear proper footing.

- As snow melts off, lower elevation washes could be running. Be aware of flowing water and loose rocks.
