Hittin' the Trails 4 You: Ash Creek

GRAHAM COUNTY - Everyone's got a hidden hiking gem. A News 4 Tucson viewer shares his in a recent e-mail. Say hello to Ash Creek in the Galiuro Mountains.

The hike in Ash Creek is an 8 hour day hike, highlighting some of the best Fall colors in the state. Gaining under 1,000 feet in elevation for the first 7 miles, Ash Creek is a mostly easy trek. The trail crosses a streambed several times. Flow within the stream is highly dependent on recent rainfall.
