Tens of Thousands Of Dollars Raised For Special Olympics Arizona at Breakfast With Champions

The 4th Annual Southern Arizona Breakfast With Champions was a successful one -with over 90 thousand dollars raised for the Special Olympics Arizona.  Adrianne Rodriguez was named the Special Olympics Athlete of the Year and David Juergens was honored with the Volunteer of the Year plaque.

News 4 Tucson Sports Director Paul Cicala, who's volunteered at the Special Olympics of Southern Arizona for several years, was the emcee of the breakfast at the Westin La Paloma.  More than 800 people turned out.   KVOA had a table at the event.   News 4 Tucson's Melanie Hunter, who also volunteers with the Special Olympics as a coach for basketball and bowling, was at the event.
