Beer Chicken Burgers

Beer Chicken Burgers

1 lb dark meat chicken
2 Cups Panko bread crumbs
½ Cup Beer
1Tsp Salt
1 tbsp Black Pepper

Grind chicken in a meat grinder or food processor until coarsely chopped.

Transfer chicken to a large mixing bowl and add the beer.

Mix the chicken and beer mixture well.

Once chicken & beer mixture has been well mixed add the breadcrumbs and mix well.

Form the burgers into 8 ounce patties and grill until an instant read thermometer reads 170 degrees.

Sesame Aioli

1 Cup Mayo
2 Tsp Sesame Oil
2 Tbsp Tahini Paste

Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Orange Reduction

4 Cups Orange juice, not from concentrate

Reduce juice to a syrup over low heat.

To assemble the burger take some of the sesame aioli and spread it on both the top and bottom of a hamburger bun, for added flavor toast the cut sides of the bun. 

Place the chicken patty on top of the dressed bottom bun.

Spoon some of the orange reduction on top of the burger patty.

Top with lettuce, tomato & onion and the top bun.
