Tucson’s Charles Hollinger K-8 School will receive a new fitness center, thanks to its efforts to promote student physical fitness and wellness.

Gov. Doug Ducey named Hollinger, as well as Hulet Elementary/Junior High in Holbrook and Stanfield Elementary in Stanfield, winners of the new fitness centers. They’ll also get donated fitness equipment.

“I’m thrilled that three Arizona schools have been named National Fitness Champions and will soon be rewarded for their efforts with a brand new Don’t Quit! Fitness Center,” Ducey said in a press release. “These new fitness centers will give every child the opportunity to add physical fitness and wellness into their daily lives, which will help them live a longer, healthier life!”
