N4T Investigators: Former Fiji president acquitted of allegation related to underage drinking

The former president of the Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) fraternity at the University of Arizona was acquitted of an allegation on Thursday, Oct. 22.

He was accused of allowing minors to consume alcohol in an unlicensed establishment.

In April 2014, one of the fraternity brothers died after a night of drinking in the chapter’s house. An autopsy revealed alcohol and marijuana in his system.

The chapter was closed.
