Tucson organization inspiring crafting with a purpose

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON- A Tucson organization that helps volunteers serve their community is expanding its outreach.

WeeWork for Good is giving busy parents an opportunity to teach their children the value of giving back in the comfort of their own home.

Parents will have the opportunity to purchase a membership to receive do-it-yourself Power Projects.

Once a project is complete, families can deliver their craft to a spotlighted non-profit organization, or choose one of their own.

According to President and co-founder of WeeWork for Good Kristen Littell, Power Projects allow kids the opportunity to craft with a purpose and build something for someone in need.

On Friday, September 25, WeeWork for Good will be hosting their official launch event.  We listed the information below:

Mini Time Machine Museum.

From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m

Those interested in attending must register by emailing launch@weeworkforgood.com
