TUCSON - The Monsoon green-up is underway across the Sonoran Desert.
Hikers will notice it when "Hittin' the Trails" in the Tucson Mountains. The Starr Pass Trail starts off in civilization, but quickly turns into hiking heaven. This moderately difficult trail escapes the city hustle & bustle, flanked by blooming barrel cacti, shimmering shrubs and vibrant cholla.
Another trail showing off Mother Nature's work is the Explorer Trail. The flora isn't as abundant as the Starr Pass Trail, but remains just as beautiful.
