TUCSON - The heat is on, meaning desert hikes will soon be off.
Saguaro National Park West is giving outdoor enthusiasts a few more chances to go "Hittin' the Trails" before we break the ice.
A leg-burning 8 mile guided hike steps foot Tuesday, March 31st, winding up to Wasson Peak in the Tucson Mountains. Consider this a moderate to at times difficult hike, due to elevations gain and distance.
April 2nd has a sunset guided hike scheduled through the park. The elevation gain isn't as drastic, but does net a 3.5 mile round trip distance. This hike starts at 4:30 PM.
Reservations are required to participate in both hikes. Click here for sign up information and to see what else is on tap next month at Saguaro National Park.
