Under the daunting shadows of Picacho Peak lies the lung-busting Hunter Trail. This difficult hike nets a 1,700 foot elevation gain in a short two mile stretch. The climb is aided by cables that flank the path. Bring gloves with, as the cables can be taxing on your hands.
