TUCSON - At one time or another every Olympic hopeful has encountered an obstacle along the way.
In the case of Tucson's Marcus Titus, a former swimmer at Flowing Wells High School and the University of Arizona, he's lived all of his life with a hearing impairment.
But he hasn't allowed his setback to be an excuse or get in the way of his push to the Olympics.

Tucsonan Bernard Lagat came to the United States from Kenya in 1996 to run collegiately for Washington State. Less than ten years later he became a U.S. citizen.
And out of all of his accomplishments over the years including nationals championships, world championships and medals, seemingly the only thing missing is an Olympic medal as an American.
