Meteorologist Jeff Beamish: A dry and hot week on tap for the Sonoran Desert, as high pressure parks east of the state. High temps this week peak in the 102-105 range under ample sunshine. Monsoon moisture remains bottled up to the south thanks to a southwesterly flow aloft. We may see some of that return late in the week, but only enough for mountain clouds. Isolated mountain storms may return early next week.
