The Tragedy in Tucson Victims' Fund has now merged with several other victims' funds to create a new fund called the Tucson Together Fund. This new fund is now the only officially sanctioned fund established to assist victims, families, and witnesses of the January 8th tragedy in Tucson, Arizona.
Even though all funds have now merged, all donations made to the Tragedy in Tucson Victim's Fund will still go to the 19 shooting victims of the January 8th tragedy, as promised by our station when the fund was originally created. If you haven't already made a donation, and would like to, please make it to the Tucson Together Fund. A committee made up of all of the groups associated with the individual funds will coordinate making sure the victims get the financial assistance they need.
The Tucson Together Fund (TTF) coordinates and channels these resources to meet the long-term needs of those impacted by the tragedy. By bringing together the largest funds established throughout the community, we have created a centralized, convenient and transparent process that enables victims to receive reimbursement for ongoing expenses associated with this terrible day.
Community partners for this newly-created fund include:
• Pima County Attorney's Office
• Pima County Attorney's Office Victim Services Division
• Homicide Survivors, Inc
• Community Foundation for Southern Arizona
• American Red Cross Southern Arizona Chapter
• Safeway, Inc.
• Community Food Bank
