News 4 Tucson is proud to announce our Sixth Annual Kristi's Kids Season 4 Hope Drive.

Beginning October 15th and running through December 22nd, KVOA News 4 Tucson and our generous sponsors will be collecting new and gently-used clothes, and new toys and food for those in need in our community.  We will also be hosting a series of live drive events with Kristi Tedesco.  

The Community Food Bank, Gospel Rescue Mission, and Toys for Tots will receive all donations collected during this drive.

The KVOA Season 4 Hope campaign is coming to a close on Monday December 22. If you or your organization are taking food, clothing or toy donations for the Season 4 Hope campaign, the following deadline information is for you:

Clothing donations:
The Gospel Rescue Mission will be closing out their campaign on Monday December 22. They ask that you call their distribution center to make an appointment to have your donations picked up Monday through Friday. The number for the distribution center is (520) 740-1501 ext.7020

Food donations:
The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is now taking calls to set up appointments for donation pick-ups. To make an appointment, call (520) 449-8340. They'll begin the donation pick-ups the week of Monday December 22 through the following week. They ask that you keep taking donations till they can come by to pick them up.

Toy donations:
-Toys For Tots will be taking donations up until Friday 12/19. If individuals/organizations still would like to donate beyond Friday 12/19 they can drop donations off at any Tucson or Rural Metro Fire station up until Sunday 12/21.

Tucson Fire Department / Rural Metro Fire Department
Both Tucson Fire and Rural Metro Fire departments will take donations at all their fire departments up until Sunday 12/21. Then, on Monday 12/22 and Tuesday 12/23 both fire departments will take donations at only the following locations:

-Tucson Fire Dept. Fire Central, 300 S. Fire central Pl. 85701 (next to the TCC) on Mon 12/22 & Tues 12/23
-Rural Metro Fire Dept. station 74 at 4820 E. Sunrise Drive(near Swan) on Mon 12/22 & Tues 12/23

KVOA (for those giving and taking in donations)
KVOA will be accepting donations up till Monday 12/22. All donations can be dropped off at our last Season 4 Hope live drive during the 4pm, 5pm and 6pm newscasts at 209 W. Elm (off Stone Ave just north of Drachman)

KVOA and Season 4 Hope thank each and every one of you out there who helped with the donation efforts. It's because of you and all who donated, many less fortunate children and families will have a merrier Christmas this year. Thank you.
