    Drexel Heights performs swift water rescue southwest of Tucson

    TUCSON - Drexel Heights Fire District crews are on the scene of a swift water rescue southwest of Tucson.

    Captain Tracy Koslowski confirms that a car became stuck in the a flooded area of road at Ajo Highway and Camino Verde. Drexel Heights crews responded to extricate those in the car.

    Flooding Possible in Tucson Today

    TUCSON- A storm over the Northern Baja of Mexico is sending ample moistiure into Southern Arizona this afternoon with flooding possible through 8pm. Pima, Santa Cruz and parts of Pinal County could be the hardest hit today with some of the storms dumping 1-3" of rain says Chief Meteorologist Rob Guarino.

    TUCSON - The Old Pueblo wakes up to some early morning showers and thunderstorms.

    Tucson International Airport picked up a quick 0.04" this morning while your backyard could've seen 0.25"-0.50" as showers and storms pushed north through Tucson, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. (More)
