Update: The 2014 Tucson Supplies Teachers drive raised $172,561 for classroom supplies!
How it Works:
Help support your community! Tucson Values Teachers, The Tucson Association of REALTORS®, Pima Federal Credit Union and Walgreens has teamed up with News 4 Tucson's Kristi's Kids for their 6th Annual School Supplies Drive. Help support school districts across Tucson and Southern Arizona by dropping off school supplies at your neighborhood Walgreens from August 3 until August 17. We will then give the supplies directly to the school districts to distribute.
Cash donations can be made at www.TucsonValuesTeachers.org and all donations received until August 17 will be matched - dollar for dollar - through Tucson Values Teachers and Walgreens.
You Can Drop-off Supplies at any local Walgreens:
News 4 Tucson's Kristi Tedesco will be live throughout the month of August at different Walgreens helping to collect supplies:
August 4 - Walgreens at North Thornydale Road and West Overton Road
August 11 - Walgreens at East Broadway Boulevard and Swan Road
August 18 - Final Drop-off day at the Walgreens at East Fort Lowell Road and North Campbell Avenue
Supplies can be dropped off through August 22 at our KVOA studio located at 235 W. Elm Street.
The drive will benefit the following school districts and charter schools:
- Catalina Foothills
- Flowing Wells
- Tanque Verde
- Tucson Unified
- Santa Cruz
- Sierra Vista
- Altar Valley
- Arizona School for Deaf and Blind
