YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Yuma police say a man threatening former co-workers with a machete has been taken into custody.

Police arrested 39-year-old Vincent Arroyo Tuesday morning in the parking of Associated Citrus.

Arroyo recently lost his job, but returned to the business and allegedly chased and threatened former co-workers while holding a machete.

Yuma police say Arroyo caused criminal damage to one vehicle, along with some doors and windows on the property.

Yuma police arrived and when Arroyo failed to cooperate, officers used a stun gun on him and were able to safely arrest him.

Arroyo was booked into the Yuma County jail on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, threatening and intimidating, and criminal damage. His bail was set at $1 million.
