YCSO Detectives find thousands of videos and images of child porn in a home

YAVAPAI COUNTY - Yavapai County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested a man on suspicion of having and distributing child pornography.

On June 26, detectives arrested George Harb, 56, at his home in Prescott for 13 counts of Possession/Distribution of child pornography. He was booked at Camp Verde Detention Center and remains in-custody on a $150,000 bond.

Over the past month YCSO detectives received information on the trafficking of pornographic images with very young children.

The investigation led to Harb's home on Star Rock Drive in Prescott where detectives served a search warrant.

Inside the home, detectives found thousands of video and images involving the sexual exploitation of children. Detectives were able to immediately examine 13 video files all containing children under the age of 15 engaged in sexual contact.

Detectives noted that some of the videos contained children who appeared to be under the age of 5 being molested. These 13 videos are the basis for the initial booking charges. Detectives seized computers, hard drives, and more for further examination.

Harb admitted knowing about the child pornography images and videos. He denied ever committing an act of child molestation.
