TUCSON - Warmer temperatures on the way for the coming workweek.
Tucson topped out at 101 degrees this afternoon for the coolest daytime high so far this month. However, high pressure starts to build in over the region heading back to work this week beginning another warming trend.
Daytime highs will climb to near 105 degrees by Tuesday under sunny skies. As we heat up expect breezy afternoons with winds up to 20mph.
We'll see little day to day change this week with highs remaining several degrees above average heading into mid June. We may tap into enough subtropical moisture by the end of the week for some added cloud cover.
