PHOENIX (AP) - Police say a woman is in critical condition after three gunmen opened fire during a soccer game at a west Phoenix park.
Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos says the soccer game was under way at Sueno Park at about 7 p.m. Saturday when two men with handguns and one with a rifle showed up and began shooting.
The three men fled from the park after the shooting and have not been found. The 32-year-old woman was hospitalized and was in critical condition on Sunday.
Martos says police don't know why the three men began shooting or if the woman was the intended target.
