MARANA - A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with gym locker break-in's in Marana and Oro Valley. Marana Police say Danielle Bratton had been identified as a suspect in LA Fitness break-in's back in November.
Investigators say she attempted to enter the LA Fitness located at the 9000 block of East Golf Links last week. LA Fitness staff notified Tucson Police, who arrested her.
Similar crimes occurred in Oro Valley, Tucson, Pima County and the University of Arizona.
Marana Police Criminal Investigations Unit responded and interviewed Bratton. Investigators were able to connect Bratton to three locker break-ins that occurred at the LA Fitness in Marana. Bratton was booked into the Pima County Jail for probation violation.
Marana Police will be adding charges for the following: Three counts of burglary (Felony 4), three counts of possession of burglary tools (Felony 6), two counts of trafficking in stolen property (Felony 3), two counts of theft of a credit card (Felony 3).
Oro Valley will be adding these charges: six counts of third degree burglary (Felony 4), two counts of theft of a credit card (Felony 5), one count of fraudulent schemes and artifices (F2) and one count of trafficking stolen property (Felony 3).
