Winter Weather Advisory for Mt. Lemmon, Mt. Graham

TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Mt. Lemmon, Mt. Graham and the White Mountains of Graham and Greenlee Counties. This is in effect from 10 AM today until 10 AM Monday.

According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, a slow-moving cold front will bring numerous valley rain showers and heavy mountain snow early this afternoon through Monday morning. The snow level today starts at 7,000 feet, but drops to 5,000 feet during the overnight hours. Mt. Lemmon may see 5-8" snow, with a dusting of snow possible for Bisbee and Portal.

Valley rainfall amount by tomorrow morning should range between 0.20 and 0.40".
