TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Graham and Greenlee Counties, in effect from 5 PM today until 11 AM Friday.
Locations included in this Winter Weather Advisory include Safford, Pima, Thatcher, Clifton, Duncan, Mt. Graham and Hannagan Meadow.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, a strong cold front will bring accumulating snowfall to the valley floors east of a Benson-Sierra Vista line. Between tonight and Friday morning, 1-3" snow is possible for Safford and Clifton, with 7-10" snow for Mt. Graham & the White Mountains.
Highways 191 and 70 in eastern Graham County as well as highways 75 and 78 could become snow covered, causing difficult travel conditions. Use caution while driving in these areas.
