TUCSON - High pressure will keep temperatures well above average over the next several days.
The Old Pueblo saw a perfect start to the weekend with a high of 75 under sunny skies. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, the high pressure ridge off the West Coast will keep daytime highs in the mid 70s and morning lows in the 40s through the MLK holiday.
Temperatures will slowly climb by Wednesday when Tucson peaks at 78, about 12 degrees above average. Slightly cooler to wrap next week as the low 70s return under mostly sunny skies.
