TUCSON - Our wintry feel from today will soon be a distant memory.
A few leftover showers today made for a chilly start to the weekend with a high of 54 in Tucson, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Our showers are rapidly coming to an end this evening but the chilly air will stick around tonight with lows in the upper 30s for the Old Pueblo.
Tucson only picked up 0.01" at the airport with this winter storm even though your backyard likely picked up much more. The mountains piled up the snow with Ski Valley atop Mt. Lemmon reporting 6" of fresh powder and the White Mountains as much as 24".
A warming trend takes off tomorrow afternoon with highs climbing back up into the 60s under generally sunny skies. High pressure builds in this upcoming work week and temperatures soar to near 90 as soon as Thursday.
