TUCSON - A brief taste of Winter this afternoon.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, yesterday's cold front has departed to the east, leaving behind a chilly airmass. Daytime highs for this Friday will run about 4-6 degrees below average, with low to mid 60's in Tucson.
Another freeze is possible overnight for portions of Santa Cruz & Cochise Counties. Remember the 3 P's before heading off to bed.
High pressure emerges out of the Pacific Northwest this weekend, bringing back temps more typical for early February. Expect mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday, with each day bringing a run at 70 degrees.
A sneak peek at next week shows a potential weather-making coming out of the California coast. Models are flip-flopping between a rain chance by Wednesday & Thursday. For now, count on an increase in clouds.
