Winds knock out power for some TEP customers

TUCSON - Winds knocked out the lights for clusters of Tucson Electric Power customers Friday.

About 400 customers were hit by the outage, TEP spokesman Joe Barrios said. The largest cluster of outages took place in the Swan and Grant area and included 140 customers, Barrios said.

As of 4:35 p.m., 90 customers were without power.

Barrios says TEP customers include businesses and residences.
