SONOITA, AZ - The wildfire in the Empire Hills is under control with more than half of it put out.

The Hilton Fire started Saturday in the hills east of Highway 83, north of Sonoita.

There's no visible smoke as of Sunday evening according to Heidi Schewel with the Coronado National Forest.

The fire has scorched 300 acres on private lands and lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management.

Around 150 people are currently fighting the fire. Crews will monitor it overnight and take action as necessary.
