TUCSON - A wildfire has broken out south of Tucson, near Sonoita.
It's in Cave Canyon, near Gardner Canyon.
Sonoita's Fire Department was the first on the scene; Patagonia firefighters also responded.
The Coronado National Forest has taken control.
A spokesperson from the Sonoita crews says they have a "good handle on it," and the fire should be contained by Wednesday night.
Crews are attacking the fire on the ground and a helicopter is dropping water from above, which firefighters say has been a big help.
The closest home is a mile and a half way and it is not threatened at this time.
