CORONADO NATIONAL FOREST - It appears wildfire season has started.
A spokesperson tells News 4 the "Bruno Fire" is burning on the southwest side of the Chiricahua Mountains.
So far, the fire has burned about 100 acres and is burning about a half mile from the nearest structure. Those structures are not in imminent danger.
A spokesperson tells us four engines are on the scene right now along with one hand crew. More resources will arrive tomorrow. The cause of the fire is under investigation as human caused because there were no reports of lightning in the area.
A spokesperson for the Coronado National Forest says this just shows the conditions are ripe for fires to start and spread quickly.
