TUCSON - Monsoon storms are back in business.
Increased dew points equals an increase in thunderstorm chances, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Expect a slight chance of isolated storms in Tucson this afternoon/evening. Santa Cruz & Cochise Counties should see the best chance of scattered storms today.
Tomorrow looks to be the most active day out of the next 7, as scattered storms are possible along and east of an Oracle-Tucson-Nogales line. The biggest threats from storms Thursday will be locally heavy rainfall and microburst winds.
Storm chances decrease to the isolated variety Friday into early next week, accompanied by daytime highs in the 100's for Tucson.
