Weekend race action at Tucson Speedway


BLUE SPAN MEDIA sponsors the third NASCAR WHELEN ALL AMERICAN SERIES "ROASTED RATTLER 50 " on Saturday, August 2 with Super Late Models, Pro Stocks; Modifieds and Hornets competing in the cool summer evening.. The premier Super Late Model Division will race 50 laps starting at approximately 930 PM.
Legend and Bandalero race cars will race at the Speedway on Friday evening at 830. Admission is only $2 Adult and a Family for $5. Legend cars are 1/3 scale vintage 1930's Ford and Chevy coupes powered by a motorcycle engine---and they are FAST. The Bandalero class is a high tech go-cart chassis with a fiberglass body. The drivers are 8-14 years old---and the next generation of NASCAR superstars. Both classes will race on Saturday
Meet and Greet with the drivers and fans on the track will start at 6:15PM Saturday. Racing will be streamed live through www.fanschoicetv.com by selecting the live feed option. The filming and live broadcast is presented by Bobcat TV from Cienega High School in Vail AZ and is the only live feed in America with reporters and live cameramen allowed to broadcast to the NASCAR affiliate station.
Tucson Speedway has reduced ticket prices by 25% to encourage Southern Arizona race fans and families looking for exciting entertainment to enjoy stock car racing and family entertainment for an exceptional value: ADULTS $10; CHILDREN UNDER 10 ARE FREE and the FAMILY PACK is $20 for adults and all the children.
Action on the track for adults is matched by action for kids and the entire family on the concourse. A new jumping castle is on the grass, along with the ACE Hardware Kids Zone with swings and Remote Control cars. Speedway food is always an excellent choice with cheeseburgers, friesm sonoran hot dogs, chicken strips, nachos and a variety of Coke product refreshing drinks and national and local beers. Food and drink is value priced for the family.
Gates open at 500 on Saturday. Qualifying starts at 530. Meet and Greet on the track at 615. National Anthem at 700 and racing right after...... BLUE SPAN MEDIA presents the ROASTED RATTLER 50.
