TUCSON - After a late show of thunder and lightning, will Mother Nature bring an encore of storms today?
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, isolated storms are possible across southern Arizona today. However, leftover cloud cover from last night's activity will limit storm chances for the Tucson metro. A stray thunderstorm can't be ruled out, due to abundant moisture in place.
The best chance for isolated thunderstorms today looks to be north and east of the Old Pueblo. This includes eastern Pinal, Graham and Greenlee Counties.
Any storm this afternoon and evening will be capable of gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall up to one inch. Flash flooding is possible, especially in the Wallow Fire burn area.
