TUCSON - Another cool morning will gave way to warmer temperatures this afternoon.
Waking up to below average temperatures once again in the 40s and 50s but daytime highs will be right around average, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. A warming trend starts today with a daytime highs back in the mid to upper 80s for the Old Pueblo. An area of high pressure expands over the region keeping temperatures near the 90 mark throughout the work week.
Tropical Storm Paul in the eastern Pacific is expected to have little effect on our weather here in southern Arizona. Most of the moisture with this system will be suppressed by our ridge of high pressure keeping storm activity south of the border. For now only expecting some cloud cover Tuesday and Wednesday with the slight chance of an isolated mountain thunderstorm.
