Warm work week, pattern shift coming

We're fighting off a few sprinkles this morning, associated with a weak area of low pressure crossing Sonora. Expect partly cloudy skies and highs this afternoon in the low 70's. High pressure builds over the California coast this week, driving temps near 80's as soon as Thursday. Models hint at a pattern shift for the weekend, with a dry zonal flow replacing the persistent Pacific ridge. - Meteorologist Jeff Beamish
