TUCSON - Warm weather finally wins the forecast.
Today is the first day of "Meteorological Spring", according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This means weather record keeping for the Spring season has begun at the National Weather Service. It will be a warm start, as high temps reach the low 70's this afternoon under sunny skies.
Expect a string of 70's and 80's for highs now through the middle of next week. Temps peak Sunday in the low 80's with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows drop into the 40's the next several nights.
