TUCSON - It's a "gem" of a forecast the next few days. After Saturday is a different story.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, high pressure west of the state will be the main weather feature through Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70's for Tucson this afternoon. By Saturday, the metro hits the upper 70's with western deserts approaching 80.
Take advantage while you can, as an unsettled pattern sets up by the second half of the weekend.
One cold front moves in Sunday, bringing gusty winds and cooler temps. Models continue to hint at a stronger cold front moving in the middle of next week. Isolated showers are possible late Tuesday into Wednesday, with temps struggling to reach the low 60's.
