TUCSON - Border Patrol agents rescued a pelican outside of Tucson Saturday.
The wayward bird was stranded along Highway 86.
This time last year, at least five pelicans blown off course by the monsoon were rescued. Wildlife officials say storms confuse the birds that migrate from Mexico to Southern California.
