Victims Assistance Center opens for Monument Fire victims

SIERRA VISTA - Victims of the Monument and Horseshoe 2 Fires are getting help from agencies throughout the State of Arizona.

The Victims Assistance is up and running in Sierra Vista.

Dan Porth said individuals whose or property were damaged or impacted by the fires should consider getting help as they recover.

Jessica Nuding owned Nick's Place that burned in the fire, she said the Victims Assistance program may be what she needs, "I have a little hope that I can rebuild because the fire devastated me. Everything is gone and I have nothing, I haven't known where to turn or what to do. This whole week has been overwhelming."

The service will be available in Cochise County Saturday, June 25 and the week of June 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4001 E. Foothills Drive in Sierra Vista.
