Victim of Saturday's fatal car accident identified

TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's have identified the woman who was killed last week after a two-vehicle accident on Roller Coaster Road, in front of the Lulu Walker School.

At about 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 62-year-old Pauline D. Courcelle died when she pulled off the road and attempted to make a U-turn, Pima County Sheriff's official Deputy Dawn Barkman states. A truck struck the driver's side of Courcelle's vehicle.

Courcelle was pronounced dead at the scene, and the male driver of the truck was transported to UMC with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continues, Barkman states.
