Victim of early morning homicide identified

TUCSON - The victim of an early morning homicide has now been identified.

Tucson Police tell News 4 that 25-year old Michael A. Moreno was found around 12:30 a.m. This morning in the courtyard at 3201 E. Seneca Street after they responded to a report of a fight.

Moreno was dead when they arrived.

Witnesses told the detectives they saw Moreno fighting with a Native American or Hispanic male in the courtyard. The suspect then fled the scene in a white sedan, possibly a Toyota with California plates. The suspect is described as 5'9 to 6'0 and is dressed in light blue clothing. He is believed to be 25-30 years old.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or with information regarding the homicide is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
