Victim of deadly midtown shooting identified

TUCSON - Police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting incident at a midtown apartment complex yesterday afternoon.

Noah Holl, 26, was shot and by an unidentified suspect just before 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon at the apartment complex located in the 4800 block of East Pima. He tried to leave the scene in a truck, but collided with a parked vehicle at the complex, a Tucson Police news release states. Responding officers and emergency medical personnel assisted Holl and transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police collected evidence at the scene, and determined that Holl was in a physical fight with another man in the parking lot of the apartment complex when shots were fired and he was struck.

The shooter has not been identified, and anyone with information about the suspect's identity or whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
