TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified the driver and victim of Wednesday's fatal 3-car crash on the city's south side.

Deputies say 24-year-old Joseph Subia was behind the wheel of a red Ford Focus, ran a red light at the intersection of Palo Verde Road and Irvington Road and collided with 2 other vehicles. The driver of one of those vehicles, 22-year-old Robert G. Perez Lopez died at the scene.

Investigators believe alcohol was a contributing factor. Subia has been arrested on charges of 2nd Degree Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault. He is booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
