TUCSON - The cause of a fire, that engulfed a car in flame, was determined to be arson.

Tucson Fire Deparment responded to a truck that was on fire on the northwest side of town around 9:30 last night. It was in the 500 Block of East Waverly.

Nine firefighters took 11 minutes to put out the fire which was fully involved when they arrived at the residence. They were able to kepe the fire from reaching the house, and the occupants inside were unharmed.

TFD says the vehicle is a total loss with damages totalling $20,000.
