TUCSON - A suspect is dead following a deputy involved shooting in Midtown.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies tell News 4 the incident started about 5:21 p.m. when a deputy conducted a traffic stop.
During the traffic stop, deputies say a man in the car pulled out a handgun and that is when he was shot by Deputy Nicholas Norris. The man was taken to UAMC where he died from his injuries.
Deputy Norris was not hurt.
