Update on UA campus lockdown

TUCSON- The University of Arizona Police say they do not have any more information on Friday's campus lockdown.

Just before 5 p.m. Friday, UAPD responded to a report of a man with a gun in the Administration Building and a possible shooting.

Tucson Police assisted UAPD searching the Administration Building and the surrounding area on campus for several hours, but did not find a shooter or any victims.

The Tucson Bomb Squad and Pima County Regional Bomb Squad searched the Administration Building for any explosives, but none were found.

The UAlert system send out a message just after 9 p.m., saying that the campus was open again and all was clear.
