TUCSON - Mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures return to round out the weekend.
The Old Pueblo has spent more than half of January with highs in the 70s and today will be no different. With sunny skies returning to southern Arizona we'll shoot for a high of 73 this afternoon.
As temperatures run about 5-10 degrees above average for the rest of the month this January will likely go down as one of the top 5 warmest on record.
The ridge of high pressure that has been keeping temperatures unseasonably warm shows its first signs of breaking down heading into early February.
