UNDATED (AP) - United Airlines' 787s return to the air this morning with a flight from Houston to Chicago.
The federal government had grounded Boeing 787s in January because of smoldering batteries that caused an emergency landing and a fire on another plane.
United says it'll first use the 787s for shorter domestic flights and resume using them for international flights June 10.
