The final ballots from Tuesday's general election have been counted and in the Ward Three race, incumbent Karin Uhlich edged out and won against her Republican challenger, Ben Buehler-Garcia by 195 votes.
All the precincts have reported and Uhlich has 46.99 percent and Buehler-Garcia had 46.72 percent.
Shortly after declaring victory, Uhlich released the following statement, "I am glad that all votes have been counted and I thank those who worked all week and late into Friday night to make that happen. I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Tucson."
Uhlich went on to say, "I want to congratulate my two opponents, Ben Buehler-Garcia and Mary DeCamp, for running strong campaigns."
